Domaine du Brocard   

               A Top water for serious anglers
Domaine du Brocard is a carp haven for the serious carp angler, where more than 160 carp over 50lb+ were landed last year.
There are two lakes on this very special carp complex, surrounded by mature woodlands, where all you can hear are the birds singing and the carp crashing, making this an ideal venue for those anglers that require, not just quality fishing with carp to over 60lb, but also safe and secure picturesque surroundings.
                
The largest of the two lakes is Fontaine Aux Loups at 37 acres, strewn with lilies, over hanging trees and reeded margins, there are seven  well spaced double swims with average depths of four feet.
            
The fish stocks for a lake of this size are amazing, estimated at over 600 carp from 20lb to 60lb+, with at least 50% over 30lb+ 150 over 40lb+, and a good head of 50'es and a few 60lb-ers to keep you busy.
The average weight is around 35lb. 
 
       The second lake is called Barriere at 28 acres

         
Barriere is 550m long x 100m wide, a maximun of eight anglers from four double swims.
The swims are situated on the south bank, well spaced out giving each angler plenty of water to fish.
Barriere like Fontaine has over hanging trees and reed filled margins, with lilies dotted around thie lake.
The average depths are around six feet, with fish stocks of over 450 carp from 20lb to 60lb+, and at least half of these are between 35lb to 55lb.
There are also some very large cats, the best landed to date is a massive 110lb.
With even larger residents living in the depths of this increadable lake, which have been seen taking the water fowl, and as a result there is very little bird life on the lake.

Balance payable in full, 8 weeks prior to your trip.

We recommend that you obtain travel insurance plus E111 forms, both of which are available from the Post Office.

Please note that’s deposits are non-refundable. Returned/bounced cheques are charged at £25 to cover bank costs.

  • 1 Bed chair (without bag)

  • 1 Sleeping bag

  • 1 Rod bag

  • 1 Bivvy

  • 1 Rucksack

  • 1 Medium bag for hand luggage

  • 10kg of bait
